Why Train With Me?

I’m a world champion at yo-yoing.

Not the toy, but with yo-yoing my workout routines and my nutrition plans- for the last 13 years or so.

I’ve been jacked, buff, shredded, skinny fat, chubby, fluffy and even…*dun dun duuunnn* “fat”.

I’ve also had my fair share of addictions and disordered eating habits (the latter of which I’m still working on). 

This really doesn’t sound like a phenomenal pitch…

But in the twilight of my twenties, I finally have discovered and devised a collection of metacognitive tools and knowledge necessary to achieve sustainable health and fitness. The answers often lie in behavioral psychology. I would consider a privilege and an enormous responsibility to share these with you. A lot of it truly is simple, but definitely not easy— but definitely doable.

I know what it's like to be confused and hear so many things at once from so many different sources with different people telling you different things about what to do in the gym and kitchen and how to do them.

It gets really fucking tough…the uncertainty, anxiety and the looming dread of potential futility. But I promise, if you commit to the effort to be persistent, it’ll only be a matter of time before you develop confidence about how to go about this fitness thing. And I can help you here.

I am certified as a personal trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine(NASM) and as nutrition coach (CNC) through Precision Nutrition. I have practiced yoga for 14 years and am certified as a yoga teacher (RYT200) from the Siddhi Yoga School in Dharamshala, India. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. I’m also kinda jacked for what it’s worth! :D<3
